As a wholesale gifts importer, Island Wholesalers was established in 1928.
For three generations of the same family have guided the business and expenses over the years.
Initially the business dealt with local Isle of Wight products and since deals with imported products which were distributed to independent gift shops on the Isle of Wight and then further afield.
Since then, our wholesale gifts company has grown beyond all recognition of those early years. The business has developed a modern warehousing, and distribution facility on the Isle of Wight, as well as a series of separate units. Today, through expansion staff are employed by the Group across its operation.
We have seen phenomenal growth, which is set to continue in the future.
However, despite the success and growth Island Wholesalers has achieved whilst operating in the industry, we still maintain the same core values which held true when the company was first established; good quality, well-designed products, competitive pricing, and a down to earth, but highly professional customer service team.
Our buying team always keeps a keen eye on developments in the sector, and with increasing emphasis on product design and development through our design teams in UK and China, we look forward to bringing innovative products to the wholesale gifts market for years to come, and to working hard to meet our customers' requirements.
